Bellevue Comets (Bellevue, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bellevue improves its record to 15-13 on the season. The Comets travel to Beckman (Dyersville, IA) to face the Trailblazers in a test on Monday, October 14. The Trailblazers go into the test with a record of 19-4. Beckman lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA)

The Panthers now own a 24-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oelwein for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 22. Monticello will face a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 13-19.
