In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Tranquillity Tigers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Coast Union Broncos.

The Tigers (12-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA). The Eagles come into the West Sierra challenge with a 3-19 record. In their last challenge, Firebaugh was nudged by Coalinga (Coalinga, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Broncos meet the Maricopa Indians (Maricopa, CA) in a Coast Valley challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Coast Union will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
