Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Istrouma Indians (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA), observed Istrouma's volleyball team top Mentorship Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Indians (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record.

Next, the Sharks meet the Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) in a Division III District 4 contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Mentorship Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Pelicans enter the contest with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Tara (Baton Rouge, LA).
