In Monday's league challenge, the visiting J.P. Stevens Hawks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the South Brunswick Vikings.
The Hawks (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against South River (South River, NJ). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 0-18 record.
Next, the Vikings meet the Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Red challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. South Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record.
