In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Owatonna Huskies volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kasson-Mantorville Komets.

The Huskies (15-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Spartans come into the Big 9 challenge with a 12-12 record.

Next, the Komets meet the Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) in a Hiawatha Valley challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Kasson-Mantorville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-16 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 19-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cotter (Winona, MN).
