The Largo Lions topped the visiting Surrattsville Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Lions confront the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game, on Wednesday, October 16. Largo will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD).

The Hornets (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South gained a win over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD), 3-0, in a non-league game.
