Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) and the visiting Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), observed Nicholas County's volleyball team top Menifee County by a tally of 2-0.

The Bluejackets (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, George Rogers Clark beat Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the St. Patrick Saints (Maysville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 14. Menifee County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Saints enter the contest with a 2-16 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bath County (Owingsville, KY).
