Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) and the visiting Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA), observed Mid-Prairie's volleyball team hold off Wilton by a count of 2-1.

The Golden Hawks (28-7) will now prepare for their outing against Bellevue (Bellevue, IA). The Comets come into the outing with a 15-13 record. In their last outing, Bellevue was nudged by Beckman (Dyersville, IA), 2-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Wilton drops to 28-6 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Beckman (Dyersville, IA) to clash with the Trailblazers in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 17. The Trailblazers come into the outing with a record of 22-4. Beckman won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Bellevue (Bellevue, IA)
