Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Sturgis West can't hold off St. John Paul II

The St. John Paul II Lions tipped the host Sturgis West Navigators volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Lions confront the Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 17. St. John Paul II will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Whalers enter the game with a 5-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA).

The Navigators (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Cape Cod Academy (Osterville, MA). The Seahawks enter the non-league game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Cape Cod Academy was tipped by Atlantis (Fall River, MA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
