The Mt. Mansfield Cougars were victorious over the host Montpelier Solons volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Cougars now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Essex for a Division 1 game on Thursday, October 16. Mt. Mansfield will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Burlington (South Burlington, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 13-0.

The Solons (0-12) will now prepare for their game against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets enter the Division 1 game with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Bellows Free Academy was topped by Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT), 3-0, in a league outing.
