Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) and the host Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA), observed Northgate's volleyball team hold off Benicia by a tally of 2-1.

The Broncos (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons enter the contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Acalanes was tipped by Campolindo (Moraga, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berean Christian for a test on Thursday, October 16. Benicia will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-10.
