The La Cueva Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Capital Jaguars to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 16. La Cueva will play a Demons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Demons record now stands at 4-7.
The Jaguars (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the non-league game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Manzano gained a win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
