In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting West Valley Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Central Valley Falcons.

The Eagles (27-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Yreka (Yreka, CA). The Miners go into the test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Yreka was defeated by University Prep (Redding, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson for a test on Thursday, October 16. Central Valley will face a Cubs squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 1-16.
