Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Richmond Spartans (Richmond, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskers (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Holden (Holden, MO). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.

Next, the Spartans meet the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Richmond will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
