In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Center Place Golden Eagles (Independence, MO) soccer team edged the visiting Plaza Heights Christian Academy Lions (Blue Springs, MO), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Golden Eagles face the Clinton Christian Academy Patriots (Clinton, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 17. Center Place will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 15-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Overland Christian (Overland Park, KS).
With the loss, Plaza Heights Christian Academy moves to 4-6 on the year.
