In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Washburn Castle Guards soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Cumberland Beavers.

The Castle Guards (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Hayward (Hayward, WI). The Hurricanes enter the Heart O'North outing with a 3-6 record.

Next up, the Beavers confront the Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI) in a Heart O'North outing, on Thursday, October 16. Cumberland will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Oredockers come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 6-0 league loss to Spooner (Spooner, WI).
