Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA), 6-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Springfield Township moves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 15. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 6-12. Cheltenham won 1-0 in their recent league test against New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA)

The Bears now have a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Lower Moreland for a Suburban One - American test on Wednesday, October 15. Upper Moreland will clash with a Lions team coming off a 0-0 non-league Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA). The Lions record now stands at 10-3.
