Arizona High School Volleyball - ALA - Ironwood overwhelmed by Payson

Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting ALA - Ironwood Warriors (Ironwood, AZ), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Payson advances its record to 23-4 on the season. The Longhorns host Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Golden Eagles in a 3A - Metro test on Thursday, October 16. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-11. Bourgade Catholic lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ)

The Warriors now sport a 14-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Christian for a 3A - Metro test on Wednesday, October 15. ALA - Ironwood will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Crusaders record now stands at 19-5.
