New Mexico High School Volleyball - Mayfield winner over Alamogordo

Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Mayfield improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Trojans host Gadsden (Anthony, NM) to face the Panthers in a 5A District 3 test on Thursday, October 16. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 2-12.

The Tigers now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Las Cruces for a 5A District 3 test on Thursday, October 16. Alamogordo will meet a Bulldawgs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 16-0.
