The Sailors go into the battle with a record of 4-14. Mapleton lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Siletz Valley (Siletz, OR)

Next, the Wolverines meet the Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR) in a 1A Mountain West challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Alsea will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Mannahouse Christian Academy (Portland, OR).
