In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Astoria Fishermen volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Tillamook Cheesemakers.

The Fishermen (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaside (Seaside, OR). The Seagulls enter the 4A Cowapa challenge with a 1-14 record. In their last challenge, Seaside was defeated by Banks (Banks, OR), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Cheesemakers now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scappoose for a 4A Cowapa test on Wednesday, October 15. Tillamook will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Helens (St. Helens, OR). The Indians record now stands at 7-17.
