With the win, Belfry improves its record to 10-11 on the season. The Pirates host Jenkins (Jenkins, KY) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 6-16. Jenkins lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY)

Next, the Blackcats play the Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Prestonsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 14-16 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Martin County (Inez, KY).
