Bennington Bulldogs (Bennington, KS) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Bennington advances its record to 29-7 on the season. The Bulldogs host Sterling (Sterling, KS) to face the Black Bears in a Heart of America test on Tuesday, October 14. The Black Bears go into the test with a record of 15-15. Sterling lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Moundridge (Moundridge, KS)

The Black Bears now have a 15-16 record. They play next when they travel to Bennington for a Heart of America outing on Tuesday, October 14. Sterling will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 28-7.
