La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, La Cueva upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) to meet the Demons in a 5A District 2 challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Santa Fe won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)

In their next game, the Jaguars face the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 test, on Saturday, October 18. Capital will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Monarchs go into the test with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
