In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Chaparral Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Waco Lions.
The Bobcats (14-24) will now prepare for their challenge against Belton (Belton, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region II District 16 challenge with a 27-12 record. In their last challenge, Belton beat University (Waco, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Waco will attempt to advance on its 3-21 season record. The Broncos go into the test with a 25-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Ellison (Killeen, TX).
