Texas High School Volleyball - Clifton over West

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX) and the visiting West Trojans (West, TX), saw Clifton's volleyball squad notch a victory over West by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Clifton improves its record to 33-6 on the season. The Cubs travel to Whitney (Whitney, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, October 17. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 10-17. Whitney won 3-0 in their recent league test against McGregor (McGregor, TX)

The Trojans now own a 18-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Troy for a 3A Region III District 17 test on Friday, October 17. West will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Harmony Science Academy (Waco, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 21-10.
