The Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 9-18 record. They play next when they host McClatchy for a Metropolitan Conference bout on Thursday, October 16. Kennedy will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Lions record now stands at 14-8.
