The Coventry Oakers volleyball squad (Coventry, RI), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI)

The Skippers (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies enter the Division 1 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, East Providence achieved victory over Prout (Wakefield, RI), 3-0, in a league test.

The Oakers now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Kingstown for a Division 1 test on Wednesday, October 22. Coventry will face a Skippers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 14-1.
