DeSales Irish (Walla Walla, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Sunnyside Christian Knights (Sunnyside, WA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Irish (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Yakama Nation Tribal (Toppenish, WA). The Eagles enter the 1B Southeast - West challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Yakama Nation Tribal beat Prescott (Prescott, WA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Liberty Christian Patriots (Richland, WA) in a 1B Southeast - West challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Sunnyside Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Walla Walla Valley Academy (College Place, WA).
