With the win, DeSoto improves its record to 17-10 on the season. The Eagles travel to Horn (Mesquite, TX) to face the Jaguars in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge on Friday, October 17. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 12-20. Horn won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Lancaster (Lancaster, TX)

Next, the Skeeters meet the Skyline Raiders (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Mesquite will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX).
