New Mexico High School Volleyball - Dora bounced by Melrose

Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Melrose improves its record to 12-2 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM) to face the Warriors in a 1A District 4 test on Thursday, October 16. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Gateway Christian won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Elida (Elida, NM)

Next, the Coyotes meet the Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM) in a 1A District 4 challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Dora will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, NM).
