Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA). The Mavericks come into the 2A/3A/4A Wesco challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Meadowdale beat Mountlake Terrace (Mountlake Terrace, WA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Stormrays play the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Wesco game, on Thursday, October 16. Shorewood will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Lynnwood (Bothell, WA).
