In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Lake Arthur Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Floyd Broncos.

The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Elida (Elida, NM). The Tigers come into the 1A District 4 challenge with a 15-2 record. In their last challenge, Elida was beaten by Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM), 3-2, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Broncos face the Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM) in a 1A District 4 test, on Thursday, October 16. Floyd will attempt to advance on its 3-13 season record. The Coyotes go into the test with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Melrose (Melrose, NM).
