Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Grand Haven Buccaneers (Grand Haven, MI) and the visiting West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI), observed Grand Haven's volleyball team top West Ottawa by a count of 3-1.

The Buccaneers (28-8) will now prepare for their contest against East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI). The Falcons enter the Ottawa-Kent - Red contest with a 4-25 record. In their last contest, East Kentwood was knocked off by Grandville (Grandville, MI), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Panthers now own a 12-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockford for a Ottawa-Kent - Red battle on Thursday, October 16. West Ottawa will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI). The Rams record now stands at 31-1.
