North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gray Stone Day over Union Academy

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) and the visiting Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), observed Gray Stone Day's volleyball team top Union Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Knights (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 16-10 record. In their last battle, North Stanly achieved victory over South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now own a 18-5 record.
