In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Harpeth Indians.
The Hawks (22-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Loretto (Loretto, TN). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 20-26 record. In their last challenge, Loretto lost by Summertown (Summertown, TN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians play the Summertown Eagles (Summertown, TN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 16. Harpeth will attempt to advance on its 14-13 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 38-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Loretto (Loretto, TN).
