Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ) and the visiting Hayden Lobos (Winkelman, AZ), observed Ray's volleyball squad notch a victory over Hayden by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Ray improves its record to 8-10 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Superior (Superior, AZ) to encounter the Panthers in a 1A - East battle on Thursday, October 16. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 8-6. Superior lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ)
The Lobos now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 15. Hayden will encounter a Sentinels squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lourdes Catholic (Nogales, AZ). The Sentinels record now stands at 1-10.
