New Mexico High School Volleyball - Hobbs over Roswell

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) and the host Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM), observed Hobbs's volleyball team top Roswell by a count of 3-1.

The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Wildcats enter the 5A District 4 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Clovis achieved victory over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Coyotes now own a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlsbad for a 5A District 4 battle on Thursday, October 16. Roswell will encounter a Cavemen/Cavegirls squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls record now stands at 4-13.
