The Sonora Wildcats volleyball squad (Sonora, CA), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA)

With the win, Hughson improves its record to 22-9 on the season. The Huskies travel to Orestimba (Newman, CA) to encounter the Warriors in a Trans Valley League battle on Thursday, October 16. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 11-17. Orestimba lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Hilmar (Hilmar, CA)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) in a Trans Valley League battle, on Thursday, October 16. Sonora will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record. The Indians go into the battle with a 22-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA).
