California High School Volleyball - Monterey Trail Laguna Creek

Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Laguna Creek upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Franklin (Elk Grove, CA) to meet the Wildcats in a Delta League challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 17-10. Franklin lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA)

Next, the Mustangs meet the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) in a Delta League challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Monterey Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Heritage (Brentwood, CA).
