The Pine Ridge Thorpes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Little Wound Mustangs to 0 in the Thorpes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thorpes now possess a 20-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lakota Tech for a A Region 7 outing on Thursday, October 16. Pine Ridge will play a Tatanka team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD). The Tatanka record now stands at 27-9.

With the loss, Little Wound drops to 10-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD) to play the Chiefs in a non-league game on Thursday, October 16.
