The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Staunton River Golden Eagles to 0 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they host William Byrd for a Blue Ridge outing on Thursday, October 16. Lord Botetourt will play a Terriers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Terriers record now stands at 5-12.

With the loss, Staunton River drops to 9-7 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to play the Eagles in a Blue Ridge game on Thursday, October 16.
