In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Mena Bearcats volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Magnolia Panthers.

The Bearcats (22-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Malvern (Malvern, AR). The Leopards enter the 4A 6 challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Malvern beat Waldron (Waldron, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Arkadelphia Badgers (Arkadelphia, AR) in a 4A 6 challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Magnolia will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record. The Badgers enter the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR).
