McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Takini Skyhawks (Howes, SD), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Mustangs now have a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Chamberlain for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 21. McLaughlin will confront a Cubs squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD). The Cubs record now stands at 3-16.

The Skyhawks (4-15) will now prepare for their game against Wakpala (Wakpala, SD). The Sioux go into the non-league game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Wakpala was topped by North Central (Eureka, SD), 3-0, in a league outing.
