Kansas High School Volleyball - McPherson tips Wellington

October 14, 2025: Wellington, KS 67152

The McPherson Bullpups volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Wellington Crusaders to 1 in the Bullpups non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bullpups now have a 28-6 record. They play next when they travel to Winfield for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III outing on Thursday, October 16. McPherson will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clearwater (Clearwater, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 8-22.

The Crusaders (19-11) will now prepare for their outing against Buhler (Buhler, KS). The Crusaders come into the non-league outing with a 10-16 record. In their last outing, Buhler was nudged by Valley Center (Valley Center, KS), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
