Illinois High School Volleyball - Mercer County over Rockridge

The Mercer County Golden Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Rockridge Rockets to 0 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 16-15 record. They play next when they host Riverdale for a Three Rivers outing on Thursday, October 16. Mercer County will play a Rams team coming off a 2-1 league win over Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Rams record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Rockridge drops to 9-18 on the campaign. The Rockets host Orion (Orion, IL) to play the Chargers in a Three Rivers outing on Thursday, October 16. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 16-14. Orion won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL)
