With the win, Metamora upgrades its record to 18-10 on the year. The Redbirds travel to Limestone (Bartonville, IL) to meet the Rockets in a Mid-Illini challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 26-1. Limestone lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Morton (Morton, IL)

Next, the Dragons meet the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a Mid-Illini test, on Thursday, October 16. Pekin will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Little Giants go into the test with a 2-22 record after their 2-0 league loss to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL).
