Texas High School Volleyball - Newman Smith The Colony

In Tuesday's league match, the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 match, on Friday, October 17. The Colony will attempt to move on its 10-24 season record. The Scots enter the match with a 33-8 record after their 3-2 league win over Wakeland (Frisco, TX).

The Trojans (7-23) will now prepare for their match against Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Lions enter the 5A Region II District 12 match with a 19-10 record. In their last match, Reedy notched a victory over Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 3-1, in a league match.
