In Tuesday's non-league match, the Overton Eagles (Overton, NE) volleyball team knocked off the host Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs (Sumner, NE), by a margin of 3-0.

The Eagles now possess a 24-2 record. They play next when they travel to Amherst for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 16. Overton will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 21-5.
