With the win, Pacific Grove improves its record to 16-5 on the season. The Breakers travel to Santa Catalina (Monterey, CA) to encounter the Cougars in a Pacific Coast - Gabilan test on Thursday, October 16. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 3-7. Santa Catalina lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Carmel (Carmel, CA)

The Chieftains now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salinas for a Pacific Coast - Gabilan challenge on Thursday, October 16. Palma will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hollister (Hollister, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 18-6.
